Strollerderby, the Mother of All Parenting Blogs (cute, btw) looks at a new PBS offering for tween-girls: SciGirls.

Hoping to catch the imagination of the Hannah Montana/iCarly/Wizards of Waverly Place set (in other words, my girls), PBS is launching a new show that is "...focused on increasing girls’ interest in scientific endeavors - from biology to engineering. A mix of animation and live action, it’s powered by a cartoon tween named Izzie, who enters an online community for girls - the SciGirls - to find answers to the problems of every day life."

Nice, I'm looking forward to it. Then maybe my girls will get as interested in science as my son is.
