Should You Take Your Kids to See the New Star Trek Film?

GeekDad does a (spoiler free) review of the movie with a mind towards whether or not you should take your little Trekkies to see the PG-13 movie.

Personally, even though I haven't seen it yet, I imagine it will be fine. Trek has always been family friendly, even more so than Star Wars. My kids still haven't seen Episode III because of Anakin's slaughter of the younglings.
