On Their Way

The new laptops I ordered for the Mrs. and myself should arrive on Thursday.  I'm excited!

This is the first time we've purchased new computers in years and will be my first in-depth experience with Windows 7.  I've played with it on other people's systems, but now I'll get the opportunity to really take it apart.  I've heard from others that it's really stable and much faster than Vista.  While I liked Vista for the most part, it definitely had issues, memory management among them. 

So I'm looking forward to playing with my new toy, but I'm curious how soon it will be until I install Linux.  I'll be sure to make a good backup first.
