Sign Me Up

I wasn't sanguine about the new Tron movie previously.

First, sequels rarely (mostly never) are as good as the original. While Tron wasn't a work of art, it was a good movie that changed the way Hollywood made movies, so it's very iconic.

Second, I hate CGI fests without a plot. I was afraid that was exactly what this would be, much like Matrix Revolutions (sorry Matrix fans - the first movie was awesome, the last 2, much less so).

Now I get word (yes, I'm sheltered) that the plan is for the movie to be in 3D. Considering Avatar, now I'm intrigued enough to want to see it.
